I will bet all remaining jobs at GCI that Greenville will endorse McCain. They endorse Dems only when they have to–during the Dem primary. Doesn’t really matter if it’s a decent candidate or not.

Why the crap would anyone care who Gannett thinks should be president? Newspapers and television should get out of the endorsement business and back into the news business. At my Gannett television station we’re even promoting people sending in their own news. I guess the reporters and photogs will be the next to get the hatchet as the public uses our ‘youtube-ish’ site to report the news. What a great idea. I’m sure our news will be accurate and unbiased.

    Lansing goes for Obama.

The Livingston County Daily Press & Argus in Howell, Michigan endorsed Obama. Livingston County, between Detroit and Lansing, is a very Republican County.

Staunton endorsed Obama. The paper is considered liberal by many in the community, but endorsed Bush in 2004.
